Marc Wragg is the Pastor-Teacher of Saving Grace Bible Church. He was saved in February 1994, and shortly after his conversion Marc entered into The Master’s College (TMC) through a one year Bible diploma program. Upon completing this work, he enrolled fulltime at TMC as a Biblical Counseling major learning under Dr. Wayne Mack. During his years at TMC, Marc was a Resident Advisor, and also went to Ethiopia twice, leading one team to minister in Ethiopia to teach biblical counseling to the indigenous pastors. During his time at TMC Marc met his wife Jill, and was married at the end of his junior year.
Upon graduating from The Masters College, Marc completed his work as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and started working as a Network Administrator for Grace to You (GTY), where he was greatly encouraged in his Christian walk by the ministry of Dr. John MacArthur and personally mentored by GTY Executive Director Phil Johnson. While working at GTY fulltime, Marc attended The Master’s Seminary to work toward his Masters of Divinity, and co-labored with Phil Johnson in GraceLife, a fellowship group at Grace Community Church. He also filled in as pulpit supply and provided leadership to the Bible Study groups and counseling ministries provided by GraceLife.
Upon completing his education at The Master’s Seminary, Marc and his family moved to Jupiter, Florida to attend Grace Immanuel Bible Church (GIBC). During his five years of ministry at GIBC Marc helped to start the Institute of Grace, a training institute for lay people. He also helped launch The Expositors Seminary by providing his technical expertise in their innovative classroom design, and was a co-teacher in GraceLife, a fellowship group at GIBC. Marc also filled the pulpit at GIBC and taught in many of the Sunday School classes. During his time at GIBC Marc was ordained to Gospel Ministry by Phil Johnson, Jerry Wragg, Don Dunlap, and the Elders of Grace Immanuel Bible Church.
While a part of the ministry at GIBC, Marc helped teach at Grace Bible Church, a church plant in Naples, Florida. During this time in Naples, a group of people from Venice began to think about planting a church in the Venice area in the Spring of 2009. In September of 2010, Marc and Jill decided it was time to enter into fulltime ministry, and at this same time the families in Venice were actively seeking a pastor to lead them. After visiting the area and meeting with the Venice group, Marc decided to accept the position as senior pastor, and began ministering in the Venice area in November 2010. In January 2011, Saving Grace Bible Church was officially launched.
Since taking the pulpit of Saving Grace, Marc has used his gifts to equip and build up the congregation through expository preaching and biblical counseling, worked to establish a strong and qualified church leadership, and traveled to Argentina several times to equip and encourage the indigenous pastors there. Currently, Marc is pursuing his doctorate in preaching through the Master's Seminary, and continuing to pastor Saving Grace Bible Church as together we strive to Exalt God, Exposit the Scriptures, Edify the Saints, and Evangelize the Lost.
Marc, Jill, and their six kids live in Englewood and are excited to invest their lives in the ministry for Jesus Christ.
